A Texas flag rippling over high-voltage power lines at sunset

Simple by design, in three steps

No bill uploads, no sales calls you didn't ask for. Here's exactly what happens when you check your savings.

1

Tell us your ZIP and bill

Two quick numbers — your ZIP code and roughly what you pay each month. No bill photo, no account login, no waiting.

2

See your savings instantly

We compare your rate to the current Texas market and show you the gap in plain numbers, right away — plus whether your home likely qualifies for a free battery.

3

Switch or install — no pressure

If it makes sense, a real person helps you switch and schedules your free install. If it doesn't, we'll tell you that too — either way, you decide.

Common questions

Is this really free?

Yes. The rate comparison is free, and there's no upfront install fee for the home battery for homes that qualify — unlike some backup power programs that charge a fee to get started.

Do I need to upload my electric bill?

No. Your ZIP code and your average monthly bill amount are enough to give you an honest, apples-to-apples comparison.

How often is the rate data updated?

Market comparison data is refreshed monthly. Your personalized comparison always reflects the most recent update.

Am I obligated to switch if I check my rate?

No. Checking your rate never obligates you to switch providers or move forward with the battery offer.

Is my city deregulated?

Only homes served by a deregulated Texas utility — Oncor, CenterPoint, AEP Texas Central, or AEP Texas North — can choose their electric provider. Cities with municipal utilities, like Austin and San Antonio, aren't deregulated and can't use this service.

Does every home qualify for the free battery?

Not every home. Our current pilot requires homeownership, enrollment in a Texas Power and Battery electric plan, and average usage of 1,500+ kWh a month. We confirm all three as part of your free rate comparison.
